An initiative by REINSW to recognise the sterling efforts that Residential and Commercial Property Managers everywhere put in during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and throughout the rest of the year.

Senior Property Manager & Licensee| Street Property Newcastle

Julie McNab is our Senior Property Manager and Licensee and has been working at Street for 15 years. Julie is in charge of a substantial number of homes and spends her days overseeing the operations of the Property Management department.

A proud Novocastrian Julie has an intimate understanding of the local area and enjoys sharing with clients the amazing places our city has to offer.

Prior to Covid Julie went on leave and found herself marooned on a cruise ship. Upon returning to Australia Julie undertook 14 days self-quarantine at home prior to it becoming mandatory to ensure the safety of her team-mates and clients. During this time Julie continued her work providing exemplary leadership to the team.

As one of our most valued employees, 21 years of experience in the real estate industry is testimony to her knowledge and capacity when dealing with landlords, tenants and the variety of trades on a day to day basis which she does with the highest integrity and in the best interests of all parties.

As someone who is people and results driven, Helen loves being able to achieve the best results for all of clients. Her honest, reliable and energised personality makes her fantastic in her role as a property manager.

Helen led the team in implementing virtual inspections during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and continues to work with the team to drive best practices for the health and safety of staff and clients.

Helen is creative in managing landlord and tenant expectations and has developed strong relationships with the variety of contractors that are essential for an efficient property management practice.

Helen has a passion for real estate and property and this is reflected in her work ethic and commitment to clients. Helen is a great asset to our Property Management team.

As one of our Property Managers, Amber is in charge of all aspects of an assigned portfolio.

Amber has high attention to detail and exceptional customer service, she is a true professional and brings a new level of care and understanding to both property owners and tenants, maintaining positive and productive relationships.

Throughout COVID Amber followed the safety guidelines to a strict degree to ensure all her owners, tenants and prospective clients were safe and felt comfortable throughout the ordeal, even taking the time to offer her assistance with any household needs to some very valued and high risk clients. She continues to communicate with them ensuring they are safe and well. 

Amber has adapted to the changes surrounding COVID and is committed to continue to do so for the safety of her community. 

With her honest and friendly personality, Amber always endeavours to make property management a stress-free experience and is an integral member of the team, priding herself on delivering results for landlords and tenants alike.




Commercial Property Manager | Street Property Newcastle

Louise Mitchell has been working at Street for the past 6 years as a commercial and residential property manager.  Her expertise extends to retail, industrial and commercial properties.

With over 20 years experience in the insurance assessing industry and combined with her attention to detail, Louise has proved invaluable to owners and tenants alike in periods when buildings have suffered damage as a result of normal circumstances or natural disasters.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Louise has shown her capabilities through handling of all negotiations for rent assistance between owners and commercial tenants at no cost to the owners.  As a result she has retained 100% of all her portfolio.

Louise controls all aspects of her portfolio including accounting, annual outgoing reconciliations and has zero tolerance to arrears and handles this in an exemplary manner for both owner and tenant.
